Róbert Góra is a farmer and entrepreneur who has been dedicated for many years to developing an ecological farming model built on the functional integration of crop production and livestock husbandry. In his practice, he promotes a closed-loop farming system in which crop cultivation, feed production, and livestock raising form an interconnected and mutually reinforcing unit. His approach places strong emphasis on maintaining long-term soil fertility, ensuring production stability, and minimizing external inputs.

His philosophy is grounded in respecting natural processes, applying ecological principles, and achieving high quality in the final products. Thanks to this approach, Góra Ecofarm is recognized as a regional example of modern, economically sustainable ecological agriculture.

Welcome by the local co-organisers and introductory lecture

Presentation of the practical functioning of a combined crop and livestock production system under organic management. The focus is on how field crop production is interconnected with livestock farming, the importance of on‑farm feed production, and the impact of this model on soil condition, yield stability, and the farm’s resilience to changing legislative and market conditions.

The presented experience will be placed in the context of current challenges in agriculture – including the reduction of chemical inputs, increasing resistance of harmful organisms, and the need for long‑term sustainable solutions. The introductory presentation sets the stage for a professional discussion on the opportunities of ecological and integrated approaches in modern field crop production.
